Rags 2 Richmond has quickly captured the hearts and attention of audiences since its December 2024 launch. This innovative new musical digital short series brings to life the dynamic world of early 2000s hip-hop, R&B, and Asian pop culture, while offering a uniquely Canadian perspective that celebrates the cultural roots of Richmond, BC.

Created by industry veterans Jonathan Wong 王梓軒, Justina Shih 石祐珊, and Simon Yin, Rags 2 Richmond takes viewers behind the scenes of a fictional TV station in Richmond, BC, where an eclectic beauty pageant and a group of ambitious young musicians come together. Set against the backdrop of Hong Kong's vibrant entertainment scene, the series shines a light on the dreams and struggles of a new generation while delving into the complex world of the entertainment industry.
